A 7.6 magnitude earthquake shakes Mexico on the anniversary of two previous quakes

People gather outside after a magnitude 7.6 earthquake was felt in Mexico City on Monday, Sept. 19. The quake hit at 1:05 p.m. local time, according to the U.S. Geologic Survey, which said the quake was centered near the boundary of Colima and Michoacan states.

The earthquake shook Mexico's central Pacific coast on Monday, killing at least one person and setting off a seismic alarm in the rattled capital on the anniversary of two earlier devastating quakes.
