GM reverses its plans to halt Chevy Bolt EV production

Chevrolet shows off its Chevrolet Bolt at the North American International Auto Show on Jan. 9, 2017, in Detroit. GM will introduce a new-generation Bolt after earlier saying it would halt production.

The popular electric vehicle was released in the 2017 model year and had to be recalled twice due to battery issues. General Motors plans to only make electric vehicles by 2035.
